Today all students will hear a presentation from a teacher from FHS, GHS, and the Ag Center regarding registration and their options.
1. Students will complete the post lab questions (attached below). 2. Students will complete the balancing equations sheet if they haven't already (attached below and at the bottom of the sheet). 3. Go to google classroom for the Build a molecule google slide. Please complete that.
1. Today is a Team Kootenai Field trip bowling!
~Students will attend their 7th period encore class.~ 1. Today will be the last day of the Ionic vs. Molecular compound lab.
2. Students will answer post lab questions. Today we will begin day 1 of the Ionic and Molecular compound lab. I designed this lab to show you the differences in ionic and molecular compounds. The observation table goes on p. 49 and you answer the questions on P. 50 (attached below). You can use your ionic vs. covalent t chart to help you answer the questions.
1. If you weren't able to finish balancing the equations sheet on the notes yesterday, finish that today. (We didn't get to that in class yesterday so we will be doing that today).
**If you were in school yesterday, look at the notes post for yesterday and that will have the sheet we are completing in class today. 2. If you have all of that completed, you can go to the "stream" in google classroom and play the game on the Phet simulation to hone in your skills of balancing equations. Have a great weekend! 1. Please read pages 60-61. (attached below) 2. Watch the YouTube video below on balancing equations. 3. Print out the notes "balance_chem_eqns._notes" attached and do your best to balance the equations on the bottom half of the sheet. Please email if you have any questions.
1. Look at the example "Counting atoms example" attached below to assist you in today's assignment. *Watch the YouTube video below if you haven't already.* 2. Print out "counting atoms chart assess" to complete for today's assignment. Email if you have any questions.
1. Finish video from Friday (the link is posted for Friday below). 2. Finish Math: Analyzing data P. 33 (2-5) (page posted under Thursday). 3. Watch the video that is posted below to assist you with today's notes. 4. Counting atoms notes go on P.47 in your notebook (attached below).
